Avery Honors Constitution, Grandparents
Two events at Avery Elementary School brought generations together to learn about family and American history.
celebrated Patriot Day and Constitution Day with a presentation by members of the Buglers Across America and military personnel. They learned the 13 steps to fold a flag and heard 'Taps.'
Meanwhile, first graders hosted a breakfast where grandparents could come into classrooms and visit with their grandchildren.
