Cherokee County Chamber Of Commerce: CHAMBER ACCEPTS NOMINATIONS FOR YOUNG PROFESSIONALS RECOGNITION

The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that nominees are currently being sought for the 2022 Top 10 in 10 Young Professionals recognition program.  The Top 10 in 10 ‘Young Professionals to Watch’ initiative is designed to cultivate and showcase exceptional Cherokee County young professionals.  Coordinated by the Cherokee County Chamber, in partnership with Enjoy Cherokee Magazine, this recognition program focuses on Cherokee County residents between the ages of 20-40 who are considered to be Cherokee County’s potential future leaders.

Do you know a 20-40-year-old rising professional residing in Cherokee County who is an up-and-coming leader?  Do they have their sights on where they want to be in the next five to ten years?  Perhaps that person is you.  Judging criteria includes professional goals, volunteer/community activities as well as past professional achievements and awards.

Those chosen for this recognition will be recognized at the Chamber’s Good Morning Cherokee breakfast held on the first Thursday in June and featured in the July/August issue of Enjoy Cherokee Magazine.  Following review of eligibility requirements, honorees may be nominated for 40 Under 40 recognition programs through the Atlanta Business Chronicle and GeorgiaTrend Magazine.

Rising stars recognized in 2021 as Cherokee County’s next generation of community leaders were Jeremy Adams, Brian Albrecht, Lindsay Bowley, Christopher Brazelton, Robert Capovilla, Angela Cortellino, Savannah Holcomb, Elizabeth Lanier Evans, Anna Teal, and Coty Thigpen.
