The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that participants for the 21st Annual Teen Leadership Cherokee (TLC) Class have been selected. Applicants, all high school sophomores who live in Cherokee County, were asked to submit an in-depth application, including their school and community involvement, as well as a video answering the question “Why should I be selected for Teen Leadership Cherokee?”. The applications and videos were reviewed by local business leaders who selected the class.

Students selected are: Sullivan Burke, Woodstock; Carter Canfield, Creekview; Remy Charleston, Cherokee; Becca Duncan, Creekview; Ali Feuerstein, Woodstock; Dania Gonzalez, Woodstock; Clark Hayes, Homeschool; Elijah Herbert, Creekview; Bryce Jones, Woodstock; McKenna Kazee, River Ridge; Nora Kharrat, Creekview; Robbie Macmillan, Woodstock; Jennifer Ramos-Hernandez, Sequoyah; Hayden Roberson, Cherokee; Vlad Stogniy, Woodstock; Cam’ron Walker, Sequoyah.

The TLC Class has already attended an Orientation with their parents and a Retreat which was held on January 22nd at the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce. Over the next two months, the 17 class members will develop a sense of community while discovering the impact of teamwork upon their peers, their schools, and Cherokee County. A graduation ceremony will be held in late March to honor the class.
