Cherokee County is under a tornado watch until 8 p.m., according to a release from the .

There will be a high today near 75 degrees and a south wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

There is a 100 percent chance of rain, according to the National Weather Service. The low tonight will be around 65 degrees with a chance of precipitation from 2 to 3 inches.
