In an event designed to highlight that the residents of Cherokee County have choices in who represents them under the Gold Dome, the Scot Turner for State House Seat 21 Campaign will host a fundraiser at Big Woods Goods the evening of Wednesday, March 7 from 5 to 8 p.m..
Campaign contributors will compete using Big Woods Goods state of the art target carrier system. Targets will be turned on edge facing away and down range. They will be moved to a distance of 25’ and then turned so that targets will face the contestant. At this time the contestant will have 6 seconds to take five shots using a 9mm, 38spl, 40 or 45acp pistol before the carrier turns back to edge. The best score wins! Contestants can enter as many times as they would like up to the maximum allowable aggregate contribution of $2500. Each entry is $50.
The event will also feature food and soft drinks and is open to the public. Guests can come anytime during the event hours and an RSVP is not required.
