Police Blotter: Burglaries and Theft

Aside from domestic disputes, local police and sheriff's deputies responded to residential burglaries.

On Dec. 3 Holly Springs Police responded to a burglary at the Shake Place at 5947 Holly Springs Parkway. Timothy Brian Peel reported that $325 had been stolen from the business.

On Dec. 3, sheriff's deputies from Hickory Flat were dispatched to 1029 Meadow Brook Drive after a man reported stereo equipment had been stolen from his car. Elliot Wagner said he parked his car at that address around 11 p.m. and came out around 6:30 a.m. the next morning to find the equipment missing. According to the police report, Wagner also said the car door was unlocked.

On Dec. 3, sheriff's deputies from Hickory Flat were dispatched to 813 Springharbor Court on a reported burglary. According to the incident report, Vicki Vickery said she went to her former residence at 11:30 a.m. to get some of her belongings and noticed the garage door was halfway open. Vickery said she had last been there the week of Nov. 21. Deputies noticed there was little to no furniture in the home, sections of drywall missing, graffiti and beer bottles on the floor.
