Sticky Pad vs. iPad

I need a pen and paper.

Some days, as I’m typing away on my keyboard, itemizing lists and spreadsheets, editing photos, text and video, I get the overwhelming anxiety that can only be fixed by one thing: a pen and paper.

I don’t want my Gmail tasks.

I don’t want another Google doc opened on my desktop.

I don’t want an app on my iPad of my priority tasks.

I want a pen and a sticky note that I can mark out my tasks as I get them completed.

Don’t get me wrong, I love technology.

It’s just that nothing can compete with the feeling you get when you mark through a particularly hard or daunting task.

In that instant, you own it.

Am I alone?
