Woodstock Man Dies In Holly Springs Car Crash

HOLLY SPRINGS, GA — A Woodstock man died in a two-car crash Monday afternoon on Interstate 575 North, Holly Springs Police said.

The crash happened around 1:45 p.m. north of the Holly Street bridge, police said.

A white car hit a tow truck that was stopped in the emergency lane, police said.

The driver of the tow truck was treated for minor injuries at the Northside Cherokee Hospital, police said. The victim, Craig Brown, 37, died at the scene, police said.

The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office assisted with the investigation.
