Woodstock Police Officer Arrested

Kenyatta Hillman, 31, was arrested at his home on Love Lane on Tuesday after responded to a domestic dispute call, said Lt. Jay Baker with the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office.

Hillman's wife, Zully, 23, had minor injuries to her elbow and neck after an altercation with her husband.

Kenyatta Hillman was charged with battery and obstruction of a 911 call. He was taken to the but later released on a $100 bond, Baker said.

Hillman was placed on administrative leave with pay while the Woodstock Police Department conducts an internal investigation, Baker said.

Cherokee Sheriff's Office detectives are still investigating the incident.
