The Best College Food Served At This GA School, Niche Says

If you were wondering where to find the best college food in Georgia, you may want to try Kennesaw State University.

Niche, in its report of the 2026 Best College Food in Georgia, says outranks Albany State University, the University of West Georgia, Clayton State University and Morehouse College. Nationally, KSU ranked 11th.

Experts analyzed meal plan costs and student reviews to determine its standings.

"Top-ranked colleges offer outstanding on-campus dining—students can easily access healthy, quality food across a wide range of cuisines and dietary preferences," Niche said.

KSU dining has received an A+ grade for the last decade, according to its website. Each fall, the university reported serving 40,000 pounds of chicken on Fried Chicken Thursdays, and also dishes out 1,400 pounds of Cool Beans coffee and espresso.

The Commons and Stingers at KSU provides brasstown beef, and preordering through GrubHub is available.

Students paid $2,125 for a default meal plan this academic year, which offers 12 weekly entries into the dining halls.
