About Eddie: "Eddie is just the sweetest," officials at the shelter said. "He was abandoned to fend for himself and brought to the shelter on 08/27/2012. Shelter staff believes he is house trained."

The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The shelter is closed on Mondays and holidays.
