Eric Shanteau, USA Swim Team Go for Gold in Saturday Relay
The U.S. team for the 4x100 medley relay is in first place, following an impressive showing at the 2012 Olympics on Aug. 3. Eric Shanteau, formerly of Lilburn, competes with the team.

Eric Shanteau, together with his 4x100 medley relay team members, is headed into Saturday as a top contender for gold.
Shanteau, a graduate of , competed with Nick Thoman, Tyler McGill, and Cullen Jones. The team's qualifying time in a preliminary heat was 3:32.65.
Shanteau had this to say on Twitter: "Took care of business this morning. @nick_thoman, myself, @TyMcGill, and @Cullen_Jones put USA as the top seed for the relay."
