Lilburn Camp Creek Cleanup, Beautification Set

Find out how to volunteer to take part in the Lilburn Camp Creek cleanup and beautification, here.

LILBURN, GA – Get out and get busy helping make trash extinct! Removing litter from local water bodies helps to protect shared water resources and gives pride in the community. In addition to removing litter, volunteers will also be doing invasive plant species removal.

The event will be held Saturday, Feb. 23, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Gartrell Nash Pavillion,
Lilburn City Park, 76 Main St. NW.

The city is looking for a few experienced stream cleanup volunteers who have their own waders.

If you are interested in one of these advanced volunteers positions, email Jordan at the address below in addition to registering at www.volunteergwinnett.com.

Appropriate attire should be worn. This includes old, closed-toe shoes or boots and long pants. Long sleeves are also recommended. Other items to consider include a water bottle
and a snack, sunscreen, and bug spray.
