1. MAIN STREET (LILBURN) WATER MAIN BETTERMENT PROJECT β INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENTΒ WITH GWINNETT COUNTY β CITY MANAGERΒ Β The water line system is being upgraded to include the upsizing of the existing 8β pipe to a 12β ductile iron waterΒ main. This is part of the Main Street realignment project. Gwinnett County is going to pay the City of LilburnΒ $38,235.75, the direct upsizing costs that are associated with approximately 1,833 linear feet of the 12β ductileΒ iron water main. Staff requests the approval of the Intergovernmental Agreement for County ParticipationΒ regarding the Main Street (Lilburn) Water main Betterment Project. 2. LILBURN MAIN STREET REALIGNMENT PROJECT β UTILITY RELOCATION AGREEMENT(S)/GEORGIAΒ POWER β CITY MANAGERΒ Β Utilities are being relocated by Georgia Power and it requires a Utility Relocation Agreement. There are twoΒ separate agreements that need to be approved in the amount(s) of $109,759 and $22,081. Staff requests theΒ approval of the Utility Relocation Agreements for the Lilburn Main Street Realignment Project. 3. COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT β FIVE YEAR SHORT TERM WORK PROGRAM UPDATE βΒ DIRECTOR OF PLANNING & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENTΒ Β The City of Lilburn 2030 Comprehensive Plan was adopted by Resolution #342-09 on February 9th, 2009. TheΒ planning efforts performed during the Highway 29 Boulevard of Opportunity Corridor Study met the public inputΒ requirements of an amendment to the Short Term Work Program according to the Georgia Department of ity Council Agenda 7:30 p.m. December 9th, 2013City of Lilburn Page 2 Printed on 12/06/13Community Affairs (DCA). On October 14th, 2013, Resolution #2013-02 was approved to transmit the Five YearΒ Short Term Work Program to the Atlanta Regional Commission and DCA.Β Β The Atlanta Regional Commission completed its review and the Georgia Department of Community Affairs hasΒ determined it meets the Stateβs Minimum Standards. 4. HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT β 93 MAIN STREET β DIRECTOR OF PLANNING & ECONOMICΒ DEVELOPMENTΒ Β Resident Hugh Wilkerson received a building permit allowing the construction of a structure on City of LilburnΒ Right-of-Way at 93 Main Street. The hold harmless agreement allows for installation subject to certainΒ requirements.
