Lilburn Woman's Club Pledges $15k for Installation of First Sculpture in Lilburn City Park
GFWC Lilburn Woman's Club (LWC) pledges $15k for installation of the first bronze sculpture/water feature to be installed into Lilburn City Park. Collaboration with City officials and members of the Lilburn Downtown Development Authority are making it possible to continue the momentum of positive economic development in the historic downtown area of Lilburn.  "Having some kind of sculpture or water feature located inside Lilburn City Park has been a shared vision of LWC members and city officials for many years and our club members have hosted a number of fundraisers during that time in order to turn this dream into reality." states LWC President, Patty Gabilondo.  Crews broke ground this week with plans to dedicate the statue to the citizens of Lilburn at the opening ceremony of Lilburn Daze Arts and Crafts Festival to be held on Saturday, October 12th rain or shine. Lilburn Daze is presented by the LWC and co-sponsored by the City of Lilburn.
