New Principal for Lilburn Middle School
Lilburn Middle School will soon have a new principal, Yvette Arthur.
In a special called meeting Nov. 9, Gwinnett County Board of Education appointed a new principal to Lilburn Middle School.
Yvette Arthur, currently principal at Jones Middle School, takes over for Gene Taylor. The former principal accepted a position at North Atlanta High School.
Arthur, along with several other new principals chosen Friday, will assume her new role in the coming week, according to a press release from Gwinnett County Public Schools.

A 2012 graduate of the district's aspiring principal program, Arthur previously was an assistant principal at Snellville Middle School and a sixth-grade teacher at Hull Middle School.
She has been with the district since 2005.
