All-Night Training Exercise Shutters Hartsfield-Jackson's MARTA Station
The active shooter drill took about six hours to complete Sunday.

MARTA police took over the Hartsfield-Jackson train station on Sunday morning to simulate a full-out active shooting scenario, complete with explosions and actors who appeared wounded and hysterical.
The scenario began midnight Sunday with an explosion and six armed men firing blanks from semi-automatic rifles. MARTA police responded in turn and six hours later, the scenario was over. Some 50 actors were used to portray wounded victims, terrified passengers, and more, WSB-TV says.
Police will now examine the outcome of the scenario and learn lessons from their execution.
