Atlanta Police Officer's Car Almost Hit by Stolen Truck at Elementary School
The empty vehicle had been pushed down a hill, narrowly missing the police car but instead hit cars belonging to school faculty.

An Atlanta police officer had a close call with a runaway truck on Tuesday morning while he was trying to maneuver his squad car into an elementary school.
The officer was making a left turn into Thomasville Elementary School at approximately 10:19 a.m. when someone put the stolen truck in gear and pushed it down a hill towards the car. Although the stolen truck barely missed the officer’s car, it did smash into cars owned by Thomasville Elementary employees, police said.
Police spokeswoman Kim Jones tells Patch that anti-police graffiti was found inside the truck.
