Event Designer, James Hurley, Opens Retail Space in Midtown

James Hurley Designs is now open on Midtown’s Piedmont Avenue, offering clients avant garden services and specializing in floral arrangements and designs for events, weddings, homes and offices.

The store's grand opening was held on July 1 at 1425 Piedmont Avenue.

According to a prepared statement, James Hurley Designs, "strives to provide impeccable style and superior quality, tailoring the services to meet client’s individual needs."

Using his green thumb to transform an everyday room into a spectacular space, James Hurley, CEO of James Hurley Designs, currently puts his talents on display at locations like Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta, Mandarin Oriental Hotel and Van Michael Salons, to name a few.

‘Our new location and showroom will allow us to interact with our customers and show them all of the possibilities that are more difficult to achieve online, said Hurley.

The store will not only offer arrangements for customers to purchase, but also a showroom to showcase the brand’s personality and style, focusing on a design of urban sophistication with a European inspiration. In addition, Hurley offers a combination of in-store orders, event preparation, deliveries and landscape design.
‘I’m amazed by the number of people who have dropped by to welcome us to the neighborhood, added Hurley.  ‘It’s making us anxious to be open and we’re excited to be a part of the community.’

“When I saw the florist sign and the repainted building, I just had to pop in the shop to satisfy my curiosity,” said Ron Yarbroudy Ansley resident and future James Hurley client. “The entire Ansley neighborhood is anticipating the arrival of James Hurley Designs.”

James Hurley Designs will be open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and Sundays 11 a.m.-2 p.m.   After hours appointments are available upon request.
