Shots Fired At Midtown Promenade Burglary Suspect
An off-duty officer fired his weapon Thursday night in the parking lot in the Monroe Avenue shopping center.

ATLANTA, GA -- An off-duty police officer fired his weapon at a burglary suspect Thursday night in the parking lot of Midtown Promenade. The officer was working security at the Monroe Avenue shopping center when he fired several shots toward a person or persons who police said were attempting to break into vehicles in the parking lot.
The incident happened around 10 pm, according to police.
No one was injured in the incident, and the suspect or suspects fled the scene.
