MIDTOWN, GA -- Atlanta's culinary scene continues to get national accolades, and it's not just along the fancy schmancy corridors of Peachtree and Piedmont.
Corner haunts, pubs and pop-up shops all have received their due from Atlanta's foodies, but there's one restaurant that continually makes headlines: Staplehouse in the Old Fourth Ward.
The Edgewood Avenue eatery has been nominated as one of the nation's top restaurants in a 10Best Reader's Choice competition.

Ran by the venerable chef Ryan Smith, known to Atlanta restaurant-goers as the former force behind Empire State South and a staunch ally of The Giving Kitchen, Staplehouse has become the standard for communal dining in Midtown.
For the past year and a half, 10Best has commissioned a group of travel and food experts to canvass the United States in search of the best chow. Now, the public has a say in the choice as well by voting their favorite food join.

If you want to go their for dinner before you go to the proverbial ballot you'll need to reserve seating in a hurry. Voting extends until Monday, Jan. 2 at noon ET, according to 10Best.
