Suspect Arrested In Midtown New Year's Eve Auto Break-ins
Na'Qwan Arnold allegedly broke into multiple cars and confronted a victim in Midtown on New Year's Eve

ATLANTA, GA --Police have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with a series of car break-ins that happened on New Year's Eve in Midtown. Na’Qwan Arnold is facing multiple charges after he also allegedly confronted a victim.
On December 31, 2018, around 5:47 p.m., police responded to a robbery call near the intersection of 10th and Juniper Streets. The victim said he confronted several suspects breaking into his vehicle and another vehicle at the location and one of the suspects pointed a handgun at him before fleeing in a Dodge Challenger.
The Challenger was later spotted near North Avenue and Northside Drive. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but it fled and crashed at 402 Holly Street. Three occupants fled on foot and officers were able to capture the driver, later identified as Na’Qwan Arnold.

The two additional suspects were not located. Property from at least two automobiles was recovered from the vehicle including two handguns (one reported stolen from another jurisdiction).
Arnold is charged with aggravated assault, entering automobile, theft by receiving (gun), possession of firearm by convicted felon, possession of firearm during commission of felony, and several other charges.
