Whole Foods Expanding Midtown Store

The Midtown Place store will be taking over almost 10,000 square feet from next-door Staples.

Whole Foods is expanding its Midtown Place location on Ponce de Leon Avenue.

The store will be taking over 9,500 square feet of space now being held by Staples, according to Tomorrow’s News Today. The office supply company is merging with Office Depot/Office Max.

Whole Foods -- on the site of the old Ponce de Leon Ballpark -- will now grow into a 50,000-square-foot store.
