
Monroe’s American Legion Post 64 is sponsoring the 62nd annual Walton County Fair. Join your friends and neighbors for some good old-fashioned community fun. The fair, which has attractions for all ages, will be held Tuesday April 16th through Saturday April 20th at the American Legion fairgrounds located at Church & Poplar streets. Gates open Tuesday thru Friday at 5:00PM and Saturday at 12 Noon. Closing is 11:00PM.

Seniors 62 and older and children under 5 are admitted free. All persons with military ID: Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard and retired are also admitted free. Any veteran who becomes a member of Post 64 is admitted free. Post 64 pays for the first year of membership. Admission is $3.00 for all others.

Tuesday through Thursday anyone can ride all the midway attractions for a special price of $15.00 and the $3.00 admission charge, on Friday and Saturday the price is $20.00 and the $3.00 admission charge.

Wednesday all students are admitted free. Honor students may redeem their certificates for $5.00 off the special midway attraction price. Also on Wednesday, the fair will be open from 10:00AM to 1:00PM for special needs students only. These students will be able to ride the midway attractions for free. In the event of rain these student activities will be moved to Thursday.

On Saturday admission and rides are free from 12:00PM to 1:00PM. After that, anyone can ride all the midway attractions for the special price of $20.00 and the $3.00 admission charge.

Exhibit space in a covered pavilion is available to public service, charitable and other non-profit organizations free of charge on a first come, first served basis. Call 770-267-0467 to reserve your space.
