Downtown Monroe's Annual Fall Festival Scheduled for Saturday

Fall is in the air and a great way to celebrate it this weekend is at the Downtown Monroe annual Fall Fest! There will be children's activities, a costume contest, great food from downtown restaurants, just to name a few.

Children's Activities include Spider/Bungee Jump, Moonwalks, Obstacle Course, Giant Slide, Pony Rides, Hay Rides, Face Painting, Fire Trucks on display, Trackless Train Ride, Special Circus Show with Gail Mirabella's Dog Show, Rock Climbing Wall, Pumpkin Patch and a Wacky Hair Magician.

There will be a special Kitchen Safety Demonstration by Monroe Fire Department! There will be Live Music, the Monroe Antique Rail will be running and will include guided tours by the Walton County Historical Society!

Amici is hosting a WING CONTEST and don't miss the Children's Costume Contest! Register between 10am-12pm.... Costume Contest will be at 1:00pm at the Historic Courthouse.

The Monroe Farmers Market will have one last fling at 9 am!

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be followed by a cemetery tour by the Monroe Art Guild for anyone who is interested in the city's influential residents of times past.
