The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center is presenting “Choosing the Correct Legal Entity” on March 20, 2013 from 11am-1pm at the UGA SBDC.
Athens, GA – Scott Lowry of Fortson, Bentley & Griffin, P.A. will be presenting on “Choosing the Correct Legal Entity.” This informative class will cover the basic corporate entity forms (corporation, LLC, and partnership), the steps necessary to form each entity, and the differences between each type of corporate entity. The presentation also will provide an overview of the different tax treatments of each entity type and address the corporate authority issues relevant to each entity type. Following the presentation, Mr. Lowry will be available for questions and discussion with the participants.
