Attending Easter Sunrise Service at Stone Mountain Park? Here's What You Need to Know
Dress warmly if you're climbing up the mountain this Sunday.
An estimated 4,000 people are expected to attend the Easter sunrise service at Stone Mountain Park this Sunday (there's one on top of the mountain, and one at the base, on Memorial Lawn).
If you're going, here are five things you should know:
1. Times: service starts at 7 a.m.; the park gates open at 4 a.m.; the Skyride opens at 4 a.m.

2. Costs: $10 for a one-day vehicle permit or $35 for annual permit; round-trip Skyride fees are $9 for adults and $7 for children 3-11 and $5.50 one-way.
3. Remember it's windier and colder on top of the mountain. "Dress warmly, bring blankets," said park public relations manager Jeanine Jones.

4. If you're walking up, bring a flashlight, Jones suggested.
5. New this year: the service taking place at the base of Stone Mountain on Memorial Lawn will include a sign language interpreter.
