BOLO Alert, Armed Robberies, Vehicle Chase and Burglaries Dominate Latest WCSO Calls
Walton County Sheriff's Office urge residents to be on the lookout for a white Ford pickup and a red Dodge pickup seen driving suspiciously in parts of Walton County, possibly stealing fuel and tools from area properties.

Walton County Sheriffβs Office responded to the following incidents between April 5 and 10, 2013.
BOLO
- Be on look out for a white in color Ford Pickup and a red in color Dodge Pickup β seen driving suspiciously in the area of County Line Rd. and Alcovy Station βSubjects are possibly stealing fuel and tools from properties in the area. No further descriptions provided.

- Theft/Trespassing β A large copper disc and flower pot was taken from a lot on Cannon Farm Rd.

- Theft β A blower was taken from a truck parked on N. Cherokee Rd.

- Recovered Vehicle β A 2006 Mitsubishi Galant that was stolen out of Gwinnett County was recovered on Laboon Rd. @ Jones Wood Rd.
- Β Alarm β Walton County deputies responded to an alarm call on Crystal Brook Way in Crystal Brook subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
- Vehicle Accident β A single vehicle accident occurred on Gene Bell Rd. @ Vasco Adcock Rd. The vehicle rolled and ended up back on its wheels. The driver drove the truck to his residence on a lot in Magnolia Ridge. The driver was later transported to Athens for injuries sustained by the accident.
- Theft β A 12-gauge pump shotgun was taken from a residence on Queens Cemetery Rd.
Zone 4
- Suspicious Vehicle β A silver Toyota Celica was observed eight times driving past a residence on Highway 11.
- Alarm β Walton County deputies responded to an alarm call on Belle Woode. Realtors were on location showing the residence.Theft β A firearm was reported missing on Parker Court in Green Acres subdivision.
- Theft β A utility trailer was reported stolen from a residence on Shockley Rd. The trailer was faded- red in color with a wood floor.
- Burglary Report β Unknown person(s) entered a residence on Jack Glass Rd. and took televisions, and miscellaneous equipment.
Zone 5
- Burglary Attempt β Unknown subjects attempted to enter a mobile home in Birmingham Mobile Home Park. The subjects attempted to enter through the rear of the residence.
- Safety Check β Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Double Springs Church Rd. @ Fox Valley Drive. The purpose of the safety check was to identify the necessary driving criteria: valid driverβs license, vehicle car insurance and registration.
- Safety Check β Walton County deputies conducted a safety check Hwy 81 @ Forest Falls Drive. The purpose of the safety check was to identify the necessary driving criteria: valid driverβs license, vehicle car insurance and registration.
- Safety Check β Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on New Hope Church Rd. @ Double Springs Church Rd. The purpose of the safety check was to identify the necessary driving criteria: valid driverβs license, vehicle car insurance and registration.
- Recovered Vehicle β A Ford Ranger, reported stolen from Lawrenceville P.D, was recovered on Etchison Rd.
- Alarm β Walton County deputies responded to an alarm in Morgans Run. All doors and windows were secured.
- Safety Check β Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Ozora Church Rd. @ Richmond Place. The purpose of the safety check was to identify the necessary driving criteria: valid driverβs license, vehicle car insurance and registration.
Zone 6
- Chase β While on Center Hill Church Rd. @ GA Hwy 20, Walton County deputies were involved in a vehicle chase with a motorcycle. The driver was later arrested and charged with Fleeing and Attempting to Elude, Passing in a No Passing Zone and Reckless Driving.
- Damage to Property β Damages were made to items on the front porch of a residence on Greenridge Drive in Hidden Creek subdivision.
- Burglary Attempt β A report was made about an attempt made to enter a mobile home on a lot in Jackson Mobile Home Park. The subjects attempted to pry open the back door. No pry marks were noticed when deputies arrived. Extra patrol requested.
- Alarm β Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Victoria Park Drive in Victoria Park subdivision. All doors and windows were secured.
- Alarm β Walton County deputies responded to an alarm Oakwood Place in The Oaks at Grandview. All doors and windows were secured.
- Burglary β A residence was burglarized on Harris Drive in Harrison Mill subdivision. The subject forced through the backdoor and took several items. A suspect has been identified.
- Theft β A registration tag was stolen from a work vehicle at Fire Alliance on Hwy GA 20.
- Armed Robbery β On April 9, 2013, between the hours of 10:00pm and 10:15pm, a white female and a white male robbed Mr. Jeffβ on Highway 81. The suspects left in a dark colored two-door Saturn. The subjects were later identified and had warrants out of Rockdale County for armed robbery as well.Β
- , a white female and white male led law enforcement officers on a high-speed chase into Dekalb County after shoplifting at Wal-Mart then drawing a firearm on employees. The female subject was arrested and transported to the Walton County Jail. The subjects are suspects in the armed robbery on April 9th at Mr. Jeffβs convenience store on Hwy 81.

- Alarm β Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Stewart Lake Rd. All doors and windows were secured.
- Burglary Report β A circular saw and drill hammer were taken from a residence on Hwy 138. Someone witnessed a white male in his 20βs attempting to sell the saw in the parking lot at Dollar General on Hwy 138. After confronting the subject about the saw, the subject dropped the saw, got into a small white passenger car with a dented fender, and fled the area towards Monroe.
- Burglary Report β A residence on Highway 138 was entered and ransacked. A suspect has been named.
