Candlelight Shopping in Monroe Begins Tonight
Celebrate the joys of the holiday season with candlelight shopping in downtown Monroe.
Don't miss tonight's first Thursday evening of Candlelight shopping for the 2012 Christmas season. Members of Downtown Monroe ask that you join the merchants as they celebrate the joys of the holiday season. Candlelight shopping will continue with shopping evenings again on Dec. 6, 13, and 20.
Shoppers will have the opportunity to stroll the sidewalks and view the beautiful light displays, visit with Santa, listen to carolers, pet live reindeer and get to fully experience this special time of the year.
Stores in Downtown Monroe will be open later on these evenings, giving shoppers the opportunity to find the perfect gift for that special someone. Finish up the evening by dining at one of the city's downtown restaurants.
