Car, Motor Home Stolen and Rash of Burglaries Investigated by WCSO
The Walton County Sheriff's Office responded to the following theft and burglary complaints in the Monroe and surrounding area between Oct. 1 - 7.
Zone 1
- Theft – A lawn mower was reported stolen from a residence on Highway 138.
- Stolen Vehicle – A grey Pontiac Grand Am was stolen from Chickadee Drive.
Zone 2
- Burglary – A residence was reportedly burglarized on Squirrel Hollow Road.

- Stolen Vehicle - A motor home was taken from a residence on Blasingame Road.
Zone 4
- Burglary – A residence was reportedly burglarized on Elizabeth Drive.
- Gas was stolen from a vehicle on Summerset Court.
Zone 5

- A purse was stolen from a location on Bold Springs Road.
- Entering Auto – A wallet and jewelry was taken from a vehicle on Karlee Blvd.
- Burglary – A residence on New Hope Church Road was burglarized and several items were stolen.
- Burglary – A residence was burglarized on Brookhaven Drive. A blue women’s bicycle was left nearby.
- Burglary - A residence was burglarized on Westmoreland Drive.
- Entering Auto – A vehicle was entered on Timber Trace Rd.
