Dogs Attack, Kill Goats
Walton County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls Sept. 6-8, 2013.

This report is compiled from the Walton County Sheriff Office alerts for Sept. 6-8, 2013.
Zone 1
- Recovered Vehicle - A white Ford F-250 was found on H.D. Atha Rd. near County Line Rd. The vehicle was reported stolen out of Newton County.
Zone 3
- Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested on Windfield Lane in Windfield subdivision in reference to juveniles riding golf carts in the roadway with no lights.
- Animal Complaint – Three canines attacked goats at a residence on Randolph Still Rd. Several goats were killed and more were injured. The canines fled the area after being shot at by the homeowner. Follow Up – A canine involved in killing the goats on Randolph Still Rd., was found. The owner of the canine was contacted. Â
- Fraud – Computer fraud was reported on Treadwell Bridge Rd. The subjects claimed to be the FBI via email.
- Firearms – Multiple gunshots were heard coming from the Green Acres area. A pedestrian was found walking in the area and was arrested for being in possession of a firearm with spent rounds found on him.
Zone 5
- Alarm – An alarm sounded on Windridge Drive in Windridge Estates where a homeowner neglected to turn off the alarm.
 Zone 6
- Agency Assist – Walton County Sheriff’s deputies assisted DFACS with a welfare check at a residence on Broadnax Drive. Two subjects, a white male and a white female, were arrested after they were found hiding in a shed in the backyard. The female subject also had an outstanding warrant out of another county.
- Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy 20 @ Rosebud and Hwy 81 @ Forest Falls Dr. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Zone 7
- Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Cambridge Drive in Cambridge Chase subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
