The new bridge on New Hope Church Road in Between will be dedicated and opened in honor of Besse Cooper, the oldest person in the world. The Ribbon Cutting and dedication ceremony is at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, on the bridge on New Hope Church Road.
