Fatal School Bus Wreck in Nearby Covington
The accident happened on Highway 36 at Glass Springs Road.
The 21-year-old driver of a vehicle that collided with a Newton County School bus in Covington was killed on Friday afternoon, according to CBS News.
The accident happened on Highway 36 at Glass Springs Road when 21-year-old James Cooper collided with the bus as he attempted to make a left hand turn out of his driveway, CBS News reports.
Newton County Schools reportedly said nobody on the bus was injured. It was carrying students from Indian Creek Middle School.
