GWA Lady Dawgs Kick off the Soccer Season with a Win Against Walnut Grove

The George Walton Academy Lady Dawgs soccer team got off to a great start Tuesday night in a win against county rival Walnut Grove. In the 4th minute of the game, Audrey Hardison scored off a corner kick by Kelly Kreps. In the 30th minute, Emery Cuellar scored off a penalty kick giving the Dawgs a 2-0 lead going into the second half. Camille Beach scored a solo shot from 18 yards out and then she had to go into goal for the Dawgs as goalkeeper Kit King suffered a concussion. Kelly Kreps then had a solo shot to give the Dawgs a 4-0 victory for their first game of the season. Savannah Smith and Ashley Hammond anchored the defensive line.
