Stolen Vehicle Chase, DUI, Theft and Burglary Calls in WCSO Reports

(This was compiled from the WCSO alerts. A charge does not constitute a conviction.)

Walton County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following incidents between April 1 - 3, 2013.

Zone 1

• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm call on Anne Court in Pirkle Field subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
• Burglary – A residence on Creekside Drive was reportedly burglarized. Outdoor items and property from inside the residence was taken.
• Recovered Vehicle – A vehicle that was reported stolen out of Conyers was found on Penland Rd.
• Suspicious Vehicle – Two suspicious vehicles, one black and one white were seen on Ridge Valley Rd. in Stewart Lakes. The black vehicle approached a residence then abruptly left. Extra patrol requested.

Zone 2

• Theft – A cell phone was stolen from an employee at Advantage Behavioral Health on Hwy 11.
• Trespassing/Damage – A cattle gate was damaged on Social Circle Fairplay Rd.
• Burglary – A hole was made through a wall at a truck stop on Hwy 11. Cash and cigarettes were reportedly taken.

 Zone 3

• Burglary – A vacant residence on Clearwater Drive was burglarized. Wiring from inside the residence was taken.
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm call on Brook Court in Crystal Brook subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
• Suspicious Vehicle – A white Ford van was seen driving slowly in the Paul Malcom Rd. area. The vehicle was also seen pulling into driveways.

Zone 4

• Stolen Vehicle/Chase – A subject stole a vehicle from Eliza Doster Rd. The theft culminated into a vehicle chase with Walton County deputies. The vehicle was recovered but the subject was not located.

Zone 5

• Burglary – An outbuilding was broken into on Hwy 11. Two fishing rods and reels were taken from the outbuilding.
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm call on Waterford Drive in Waterford subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.

• Vehicle Accident – A single vehicle accident occurred on Hwy 81 @ Twin Pines Drive. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for DUI, Failure to Maintain Lane, Obstruction, Open Container, Poss. of Marijuana less than an ounce, and Poss. of drug related objects.

Zone 6

• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm call on Arblay Place in Cevera Lakes subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.

Zone 7

• Juvenile Problem – Juveniles were reported riding ATV’s in the Nunnally Farm Rd. area. The juveniles were warned to stay off the road.

• Criminal Trespass – A garage door was damaged on Cambridge Drive in Cambridge Estates.
