Monroe Art Guild to Showcase Work of Local Mother-Daugher Duo

Monroe Art Guild will be featuring an artistic duo in June. The show "Different Strokes" will be showcasing the different styles of local, Monroe artist, Donna England and her daughter, Sarah England. Watercolor, pencil, and charcoal will be exhibited with different techniques and applications. The art show will run from June 7 -29.

If you like 2 dimensional artwork, this show has something for everyone. According to her webpage, Donna England was born in Alabama and then moved to Georgia, now residing in Monroe. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Monevallo in Alabama and a master's degree from Georgia State University. You can see some of her work here. The Monroe Art Guild is located at 205 S. Broad Street in downtown Monroe, Ga.
