Young Monroe Child Lifeflighted to CHOA After Dog Attack
A 3-year-old in the Gratis community was mauled by a mastiff on Monday night.
A young child suffered serious injuries Monday night after being attacked by a dog, according to Battalion Chief Craig League of Walton County Fire and Rescue.
"We responded to a 3-year-old mauled by a mastiff on Gratis Road in Monroe, last night at 6:30 pm," League said. "The child was life-flighted to CHOA-Egleston. The adult who rescued the child was also severely injured by the dog."
