Man Arrested in Monroe on Third DUI in a Week

James Allen Campbell, Jr., was arrested by Walton County Sheriff's Deputies and charged with DUI on Feb. 2, Feb. 5 and then again on Feb. 8.

James Allen Campbell, Jr., was arrested and charged with driving under the influence – alcohol or drugs, open container violation, failing to maintain lane and for a seatbelt violation after Walton County Sheriff’s Deputies stopped him on Alcovy Street in Monroe at about 6 p.m. on Feb. 8, 2013. This was his third arrest for DUI in a week.

According to the incident report from the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, Allen was arrested and charged with DUI on Feb. 2 and on Feb. 5 prior to his Feb. 8 arrest. All three arrests were conducted by the Walton County’s HEAT Unit.

According to jail records, on Feb. 12, 2013, Campbell was no longer incarcerated in the Walton County Detention Center. When he was arrested on Jan. 8, Campbell was taken to Clearview Hospital for a state administered blood test. His vehicle was towed and impounded, according to the report.
