Monroe Trash Pick Up Schedules Over Memorial Day Holiday

According to the City of Monroe Facebook Page, the schedule for pickup for solid waste will be different for Monday and Tuesday this upcoming week due to the Memorial Day holiday. The City of Monroe, including the Public Works Department, will be closed Monday, May 27, 2013 in observance of Memorial Day.

Officials report that the following schedule will apply this week for trash pick up to make allowance for this break.

• Monday’s customers will be picked up on Tuesday
• Tuesdays and Wednesdays customers will be picked up on Wednesday
• Thursday’s customers will be on their regular schedule.
