Music and Marketing was on Tap for the Opening of Monroe's Farmers Market

Vendors and shoppers alike got to enjoy the opening day of the 2013 season of Monroe's Farmers Market on the town square. The first day fo the market this year was May 18, but a grand opening will take place on June 8. According to the Monroe Downtown website, the market is operated and comprised by its membership of farmers, growers, artisans and vendors. The goal is to showcase and market local products, advance local agriculture and provide citizens from Monroe and the local area with healthy, locally grown products.
