Obituary: Willie Stancil age 88 of Monroe passed away Friday, March 15, 2013.

A funeral service was held at held 2 PM Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Rosebud Baptist Church. The Rev. Lloyd Stancil & Rev. John Stancil officiated. The burial followed at Haynes Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ms. Stancil was a member of Rosebud Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Floyd Stancil and daughter, Josephine Stancil. She is survived by her Sons & Daughters-in-law: Robert & Teresa Stancil, Monroe; John & Yullie Stancil, TN; Lloyd & Ginger Stancil, Loganville; Daughter & Son-in-law: Jean & Chuck Ward, Gillsville; Half-sister: Judy French; 14 Grandchildren & 21 Great Grandchildren; and a host of Nieces & Nephews.
