Only Two Concerts Left in This Season of Sounds of Downtown Monroe

Don't miss the Swingin' Medallions this Friday and The Cat Daddies on Sept. 13.

Grab a lawn chair or blanket and head to the historic courthouse in downtown Monroe Friday night, Sept. 6, for an evening of music and fellowship.

The Sounds of Downtown First Friday Concert Series, sponsored by Clearview Regional Medical Center, continues with a performance by the Swingin' Medallions.  The opening act hits the stage at 6 p.m. followed by the main act at 7 p.m.

The VIP tables are sold out, according to the event's website, but general admission if free.

The forecast calls for mostly clear skies and with a high around 80 degrees by the time the concert gets under way, so it should be pleasant!

The final concert of the season, featuring The Cat Daddies, will be on Sept. 13.
