Road Rage, Stolen Chihuahua and Several Juvenile Complaints in WCSO Reports
Man was punched in the face during a road rage incident on Highway 81 and Highway 138.
Walton County Sheriff's Office dealt with the following incidents during the period June 18 - 19, 2013.Â
Zone 1
- Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Alex Lane in Jewell Ridge subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
- Dispute – A subject refused to leave a residence on H.D. Atha Rd. after being asked.

- Burglary Report – A pressure washer was taken from a garage at a residence on Sims Bridge Rd.
- Arrest – A subject was arrested on Shoal Creek Rd. for outstanding warrants out of Athens-Clarke County.
- Damage to Property – Damages were made to a vehicle on Fairview Drive in Green Acres subdivision.
- Burglary – Damages were made to the lock and door on a barn on Shoal Creek Rd.
Zone 5
- Burglary Report – A back door to a residence on Round Ridge Rd. was kicked in; entry was made into the residence but nothing was taken.
- Threats – Threats were made by a female subject to a male subject on Roscoe Davis Rd. The female subject threatened to kill the male subject and burn his house down.
- Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Oakmont Way in Oakmont subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
- Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Maple Creek Ridge in Maple Creek subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
- Juvenile Complaint – Juveniles were reportedly ringing the doorbell at a residence on Royal Lane then running away. The juveniles reportedly made threats to the complainant and placed nails in the driveway at the residence. The juveniles were later charged with being Unruly.
- Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested on Troy Smith Rd. in the Highlands subdivision in reference to several traffic violations in the area.
- Assault – A subject was punched in the head by another subject at a residence on Hwy 11. He did not want to press charges.

- Damage to Property – The back glass on a vehicle was shattered at a location on Hwy 20.
- Damage – A subject was arrested after complaining that his back door had been damaged on Caroline Court in Anslee Lakes. When deputies arrived, the odor of marijuana overpowered the residence. The subject was later arrested for drug related charges.
- Trailer Inspection – A subject on Moon Rd. called for Walton County deputies to come for a trailer inspection, the subject was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Cherokee County.
- Burglary – Items were taken from a shed at a vacant residence on Partridge Lane.
- Burglary Report – An A/C window unit was taken from a residence on Sandy Creek Rd. Suspects reportedly entered the window and cash and jewelry were taken.
- Firearms/Fireworks – Reports were made in Harrison Mill subdivision of someone shooting a firearm or setting off fireworks near the area. No contact was made.
 Zone 7
- Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Monroe Drive in Lake Monroe Landing subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
- Arrest – A subject was arrested on Floye Drive for Disorderly Conduct.
- Road Rage – An older white male was seen on Hwy 81 and Hwy 138 driving a green Ford Ranger. The subject passed several cars and upon passing the complainant, he stopped and exited his vehicle then punched the complainant in the face. The subject was gone, when deputies arrived, headed towards the Conyers area on Hwy 138.
- Burglary – A screen door was kicked in on Kathleen Lane. A Chihuahua dog was stolen from the residence.
