See Live Reptiles at the Monroe-Walton County Library

Southeastern Reptile Rescue will be at the library at 11 a.m. on June 5.

Have children who just love the outdoors? You can give them the opportunity to see some of Georgia's reptile population at the Monroe-Walton County Library on June 5.

According to the Monroe Downtown website,

"Southeastern Reptile Rescue is a Georgia based organization that is fully licensed and insured and provides programming unlike any other live animal event you may have seen. Having been featured in their own reality show on Animal Planet, they have international recognition and have seen their educational programs grow past the borders of Georgia into Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida. They have a custom built mobile classroom known as "The Reptile Wagon" that has no equal! This mobile reptile zoo allows participants to experience a very diverse group of reptiles, including everything from Cobras to American Alligators."
