Some Good News from Nearby for Anybody Following Tripp Halstead's Proress

After five months in the hospital, the Winder toddler is finally back home.

After five long months and multiple surgeries, Tripp Halstead, a Winder toddler seriously injured in October when a tree limb fell and struck him in the head, is back home, according to a post on the Facebook page where the family provides updates on his condition.

"I held my breath till we actually walked through the door at moms house. Tripp has been perfect. He slept the whole way home. Then woke up when we got here," Stacy Halstead, Tripp's mother, wrote in an update on Friday, March 29.
