Student Internships Available at UGA Press

The University of Georgia Press is looking for students who want to have internships with the on-campus publishing house.

There are openings in acquisitions, marketing, editorial and design and production. The positions start in Spring 2014 semester. They are unpaid, but each offers invaluable experience.

Here's what the website says:

"The University of Georgia Press, the oldest and largest publisher of scholarly and general-interest books within the state, offers a number of unpaid internships for the spring 2014 semester. The Press, which has a staff of 28 publishing professionals, produces 70-90 new books a year and is located in the Main Library at the University of Georgia. These positions allow students who are interested in a career in book publishing to learn about scholarly and trade book publishing and to gain valuable on-the-job experience."
