Paul Broun's Campaign Supporters to Receive 'English: The Official Language of the USA' Shirt

Paul Broun is giving residents in the 10th Congressional District an incentive to support his campaign for a U.S. Senate seat — those who donate $25 or more will receive a T-shirt that reads, "English: The Official Language of the USA." 

Broun, who represents Walton County and surrounding areas in the U.S. House of Representatives, will seek the Senate seat currently held by Saxby Chambliss (R-Georgia), who does not plan to seek re-election. 

"Our nation is on the brink of economic and social disaster," the donation page for Broun's campaign reads. "President Obama and his cohorts in the Senate are bankrupting our country and couldn't care less about it. I will always stand up for our values, and I hope you will join me today." 

Those who wish to donate have the option to make a one time donation ranging from $25 to $5,200, or to make monthly contributions. 

Broun has several competitors for Chambliss' seat. Republicans who have announced plans to seek the 10th Congressional District post in 2014 include Jody Hice, a minister and conservative talk show host, State Rep. Donna Sheldon of Dacula, Mike Collins, a businessman and son of a former congressman, party activist Brian Slowinski and retired Army veteran Stephen Simpson.
