Theft of Auto Parts, Tools, Electronics and a Dirt Bike in Latest WCSO Reports

The Walton County Sheriff's Office responded to the following theft and burglary reports in and around the Monroe area during the period Nov. 8 - 13.

Zone 1

• Theft – A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle on Lower Jersey Road.
• Entered Auto – A white male attempted to break in a church van on Wapakoneta Trail. The subject was chased towards Ashland Farm Rd. 
• Theft – An unknown person entered a garage on Jersey-Walnut Road. The subject entered through an unlocked window. Several hand tools and power tools were taken.

Zone 4

• Burglary – A subject on Louse Drive awakened to find someone in their residence. DVD players, DVD’s, a game console, and valuable were taken from the residence.

Zone 5

• Theft – A dirt bike was stolen from a residence on Wedgewood Drive.
• Burglary – A residence was forcefully entered on Alton Green Road. Nothing was taken. The backdoor was damaged and off the hinges.

Zone 6

• Theft – A toolbox was taken from a residence on Youth Monroe Road.
