Theft of Utility Trailer, Lawn Mower and Safe Included in Latest WCSO Reports

Walton County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following incidents between April 12 and 15, 2013.

Zone 1

• Arrest – A subject was arrested on Geoffrey Lane for several outstanding warrants.
• Theft – A safe was taken from a residence on Wood Chase Drive.

Zone 2

• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Poplar Ridge Drive in Poplar Ridge subdivision. All windows and doors were secure.

Zone 3

• Extra Patrol – A white Ford Mustang was reported in the Appalachee Falls area for driving recklessly. Extra patrol was requested.
• Extra Patrol – A garage keypad was taken off the side of a garage on Windfield Way. Extra patrol was requested.
• Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Jim Daws at Harry Arnold Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance and current vehicle registration. A subject was arrested during the check.
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Crystal Brook Way. The alarm was later cancelled.
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Cambridge Drive in Cambridge Chase. All windows and doors were secure. 
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Crystal Brook Way in Crystal Brook subdivision. All windows and doors were secure.

Zone 4

• Theft – A zero-turn mower was taken from an outbuilding at a residence on Gratis Rd.
• Theft – A utility trailer was taken from a residence on Phillips Court.
• Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Mountain Creek Church Rd. @ Jim Daws Rd. 
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Meadow Wood Drive in Sterling Oaks. All windows and doors were secure.
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Shepards Crossing in St. Regis Estates. All windows and doors were secure.

Zone 5

• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Alexis Way in Alcovy Bluffs. All windows and doors were secure.
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Ivey Brook Drive in Estates of Ivey Brook. All windows and doors were secure.
• Burglary Attempt – An unknown person(s) attempted to enter a residence through a window. Muddy footprints were found.
• Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Double Springs Church Rd. @ New Hope Church Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance and current vehicle registration.

Zone 6

• Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy 81 @ Gum Creek Church Rd.
