Thief Tries to Pry Open Car Door

This report is compiled from the Walton County Sheriff Office alerts during the period Aug. 20-21.

Zone 4

• Area Check – A complaint was made in Green Acres on Parker Drive in reference to a noise disturbance. After arriving to the area, Walton County deputies did not find anyone.

 
Zone 5

• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Providence Club Drive in the Providence Club subdivision. The alarm was accidently set off by the homeowner.

• Disorderly Conduct – A subject was arrested for Disorderly Conduct after being intoxicated and disorderly at a residence on Waterford Lane in the Highlands subdivision. The subject entered into a residence and frightened two juveniles with his behavior and forcing open an interior door.

 
Zone 6

• Entering Auto – Someone attempted to break in a locked vehicle on Morning Dove Court. The subjects tried to pry open the doors but were unsuccessful.

 
Zone 7

• Damage to Property – A newspaper box was damaged on Lavista Drive.
